Lead Veterinarian

Dr Chantelle Baker

BVSc (Hons)

Dr Chantelle graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019.

She is the Lead Veterinarian at Albion Veterinary Surgery, and we are very proud to have her leading our team.

Chantelle enjoys continually building her knowledge and supporting those around her. She values a supportive workplace and high standards of patient care.

Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry, and she particularly enjoys working through more complex cases. Chantelle enjoys looking beyond the immediate problem to understand the underlying cause, and her analytical approach naturally draws her to cases where careful investigation and persistence are key to finding the right answer.

She practices with the philosophy that every pet deserves the same care and attention she would want for her own, and believes each patient is someone’s whole world.

Beyond veterinary life, Chantelle enjoys exploring trails and swimming spots, usually accompanied by music and some questionable singing. Together with her partner, she is slowly ticking off visiting waterfalls, balanced with quieter time at home tackling puzzles and games. Depending on the day she may be dressed for a formal event or a camping trip — and she’s happiest with her Chihuahua, Chi Chi, and her cat, Eevee nearby.
